Was chatting with Qin this morning. She was asking about the package I gotten from DiGio. So I decided to write down my Bridal Package details, which I sign up 3 weeks ago in the Style Wedding Bash 2008.
My coordinator is Sandy; she gave me a good deal at $3688.
Hope this will be a guide to her when she goes down to DiGio for a better bargain.

As I will be away for the whole of May.

Was discussing about the wedding preparation.
There are actually many items to take note in the wedding. One of them is the number of tables given to the bride’s family.

Number 1
Groom with give a certain number of tables to the Bride’s family
Bride Family will keep all the Ang Pow money from their relative.
Bride’s Family will then not take any Ping Jin from the Groom.

Number 2
Groom with give a certain number of tables to the Bride’s family
Bride Family will then give all Ang Pow money from their relative to the Couple.
Bride’s Family will then not take any Ping Jin from the Groom.

Number 3
Groom with give a certain number of tables to the Bride’s family
Bride Family will then give all Ang Pow money from their relative to the Couple.
Bride’s Family will then ask for Ping Jin from the Groom.

Number 4
Groom with give a certain number of tables to the Bride’s family
Bride Family will keep all the Ang Pow money from their relative.
Bride’s Family will also ask for Ping Jin from the Groom.

I just have no mood in everything.

A small touching story mainly for professionals &
working people like us...

"Daddy, May I Please Borrow $10.00 ?"
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated,
to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the
door.

SON: "Daddy, may I ask you a
question?"
DAD: "Yeah sure, what it is?" replied the man.
SON: "Daddy, how much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "That's none of your business. Why do you ask
such a thing?" the man said angrily.
SON: "I just want to know.. Please tell me, how
much do you make an hour?"
DAD: "If you must know, I make $20.00 an hour."
SON: "Oh," the little boy replied, with his head
down.
SON: "Daddy, may I please borrow
$10.00 ?"
The father was furious, "If the only reason you asked that is so you can
borrow some money to buy a
silly toy or some other nonsense, then you
march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you
are being so selfish. I work hard everyday for such this childish
behaviour."

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's
questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down,and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $10.00 and
he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of
the little boy's room and opened the door.

"Are you asleep, son?"
He asked.
"No daddy, I'm awake," replied the boy.
"I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier" said the man.
"It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the
$10.00 you asked
for."
The little boy sat straight up, smiling."Oh,thank you daddy!" He yelled.


Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his
father.
"Why do you want more money if you already have some?" the father
grumbled.
"Because I didn't have enough, but now I do," the little boy replied.

"Daddy, I have $20.00 now. Can I buy an hour of your time?
Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you."

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he
begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a SHORT REMINDER to all of us working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those very close to our hearts.

Do remember to share that $20.00 worth of your time with someone you love.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily
replace us in a matter of days. But the family & friends we leave behind
will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it,
we pour ourselves more into work than to our family.

When I was leaving the ward, he open his eyes try to peep. So cute of him!

William called and announced the arrival of Baby Owen! @ near to 3pm.

Speechless AGAIN!!!

This morning, got into office , first thing I do is get to the HDB webby.
Cos today HDB releasing the Sector A flats.
Aunty Jenny, wanted to get a 5-room around my area, therefore I become her coordinator.
There are over 333units of 5-room available. Hmm. And the price went up about 40k from the price I got.
Phew!
I’m 40k less in debts.

♥ Gift! ♥

Friday is WenQuan’s last day of work in DGMS. He is my everyday Breakfast & Lunch Kaki. Now he is gone, I miss him. He is flying high joining his dream job in SIA. Air Steward. With Everyone’s contribution, the dept got him a samsonite luggage. Make sure he remember us when he is flying and to pass me his schedule. So that I can get Coach for US, LV from France, Burberry blue label from Japan and more more.. ha ha…
Me took an hour Time-off to visit Dr Joyce Lim Clinic, Wenquan and Gladys took an hour TO with me too… Dr Joyce told me that, Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil and Washing Powder will cause outbreak and affect the skin texture. When I hear it, I almost fainted. All along I have been using not one but BOTH! The consultation with mediation cause me another $300.
$300 consider cheap le, as I didn’t take about 6 to 7 items which is in the list cos I still have not finish using them since the last consultation which I spend $469.

I think it's a "little" TOO MUCH!

Sat, Went over to Jurong house cos Starhub contractor coming to tune the TV channel. On the other hand , HDB also coming to change the crack window. Hmm.. got it all done by 1pm. Evening, Meet up with the Fajar Gang for Korean Steamboat session as it’s Qin and Hua ‘s Birthday! Happy Birthday! Qin getting prettier and Hua getting Bigger. Hua! Time to slim down abit le… else cannot see your eyes when u smile le lah… he he he.
After the dinner, the gang proceed to Oosh for a drink or 2. I didn’t join them as I need to go 扫墓 the next morning.

Sun, wake up very early and proceed to KOPi Hill to扫墓. Grandfather passed away 48 years ago. The exact location of the grave is somewhere in the forest along the PIE. We got to park our cars outside the landed property along Theam Hock, and climb up the slop to PIE and walk along PIE. Till we reached the road sign pointing & stating Steven Road Exit then we got to cross the drain and get into the forest. Carrying lot’s of stuff to offer and bending up and down prevent hitting the tree branches is like going through an obstacle course. Cousins and Uncles carry the farming tools, scissors grass cutters, Parang knifes and gloves to really扫墓. Grandfather’s grave is covered by grasses and fallen trees. Each of us did our job and with minutes, we got it nice and clean. It’s then call扫墓.
Afternoon go over to my uncle’s grave at Lim Chu Kang. The weather is rather hot. but it start dazzling when we are almost done. Headed to Grandma‘s house an have some food.

There is an idiot man working next door, Everytime when he walked pass me, he will look at “somewhere”
Never see before a woman with boobs ah???
Feel like giving him a Heavy Tight SLAP!
He just walked pass my desk and looked at me again!
Idiot Man!

The chef is a very young lady. Probably late 20s.
Had fun in the class but the air-con there is very cold. I got frozen since.
The cuppy and cookies that she made are extremely beautiful.
Dun even bare to eat them…
